Welcome to the club...
I'm a mum to a six-year-old boy named Tyler. Originally from South Africa, I gave birth to Tyler after only being in Australia for six months. Not only did I have to navigate a new country, I had to do it with a newborn. Covid hit shortly after, and I spent most of my time at home, Googling for advice. I had no idea parenthood could be both so beautiful and so lonely at the same time. And so confusing! Milestones! Teething! Sleep (who needs sleep anyway?), there was so much to learn. And, to be honest, not much has changed. Covid has gone, my boy is no longer a baby, but I'm still reaching for my phone whenever I need some help. It's here that I realised the stories I enjoyed most were the ones from real families. The ones that told me the truth - the good, the bad, and everything in between.
At The Happinest Club, every story matters. From small everyday wins to the moments that make you question everything, we believe in the power of sharing our truths to inspire, connect, and remind each other that family doesn't have one definition. Instead, it's found in the little moments we share along the way.

I have a story but I don't want to include any personal photos. Can I still submit?
You sure can! Stock images will be used for anyone who would prefer not to submit a photo with their story.
